What you can rely on today
While the final policy is being drafted, the following engineering-grade behaviours are already in place and will be reflected in the final document:
- Analytics are opt-in. The landing-page banner persists your choice in
localStorage, not a cookie. See /docs/privacy.md for the full technical explanation. - Do Not Track is honoured as an implicit deny.
- No email, name, dog name, or chat content is sent to analytics.
- You can sign out at any time; session tokens are invalidated server-side.
